31st December - and so New Year's Eve came and we celebrated with good friends the passing of this year and the start of another, we raised a glass to the future and wished for so precious good health and happiness for our friends, ourselves and our beloved dogs and we took a moment to think with fondness of the Khados Tibetans that left us during 2008 - Dennis, Beatrice, Shadow, Tilly, Danny Boy and dear little Katie - each one a champion in the eyes of their owners, to whom once more, our heartfelt thanks for giving them such  lovely and happy lives -  they will all live on -  splendid in your memories.
I cannot finish my notes on 2008 without recording our thanks to our wonderful Vet for all his help and care during this year (as any other) but most especially for his fantastic skills, prompt action and dedication this December. To Peter and his wife Jackie - Dave, myself and our dearest Doris want to say thank you so much, we can go forward to 2009 smiling.  HAPPY NEW YEAR
