Seeing in the New Year |
January 1st 2013 - Mikey and Baby see
in the New Year
January 6th - twelfth night and we are up all night for the birth of
our wonderful Pascha's six babies sired by the handsome and exciting young dog Winter Wizzard at
Silgarhi - thank you Sara Cross and Frauke Neum for allowing us the privilege to use this super boy
January
13th - with snow threatening and in the company of Kirsty and Elise O'Connor,
we head off to Peterborough for Boston Championship Show with Rutger - Champion Sumanshu
Hotter N'Hot at Khados JW, ShCM, IKC Jun Ch and his son Mikey - Mikudi Hot
On His Heels to Khados- this is our first UK show since Blackpool in June of last year - we have a really successful
day, Mikey is placed 2nd in Junior Dog behind his half brother Renvall's
Life Of Riley, this is only the third time I have shown Mikey and we were delighted with the really nice comments
he received. Rutger came 1st in Open Dog and was awarded his 5th CC
and to round the day off really nicely, Elise won her YKC handling class - we were a very happy car going
home and managed to get back before the snow started - result !!

Tux asks - Be my Valentine? |
The remainder of January and all of February
fly by in a busy haze, we have loads of visitors to see the puppies and enjoy the company of friends old and new
who will become the forever families of Lara's and Pascha's precious babies (see
puppies/litters page) On the personal side, Dave had a bought of ill health resulting in the sale of the
house and kennels falling through at the last minnute which led us to decide that we are not now moving house -
we are staying put at Portway - final decision !! - yipee !!
March 8th - Crufts
- what a busy weekend, we only entered one dog on breed competiton day this year and were delighted to be placed 3rd
in Open Dog with Rutger - as always, the pleasure of Crufts is meeting up with
friends from overseas and this year was no exception when the best kept secret of the year was revealed and I had the
suprise of my life when two lovely ladies from Holland, Petra Keulers and Annita Heinennen came and sat beside
me (they said they were not coming this year!!) The other joy of the day was to see Elise O'Connor
winning her YKC handling class with Panda - Khados Dancing Bear, both first timers and at
a tender age for this level of competion, so proud of you both. The next day we were back again, this time with Panda
and her daddy Travis - Deu/Dan/Int Champion Khados Dance With TiLaShu -
they were on loan to the KC for the International Junior Handling Finals in the Main
Ring in the morning and in the afternoon became movie stars representing Tibetan Terriers in
the making of the KC Breed Profile Video.

March 23rd - British Utility Breeds Open Show
- I cannot attend this show because I have to work but we have entered our six month old male James
- Silgarhi Dot Com - so we trust him to the capable hands of Miss Elise O'Connor for his first
appearance in the show ring and didn't they do well !! James is placed 1st
in Puppy Class, Best Puppy and Reserve Best Of Breed - well done Elise, how fabulous
are you handling a puppy that has only ever been to one training class - thank you so much.

alas a year started so full of hope and promise, all taken away in the blink of any eye.......... Khados can
never be the same again.
April 14th 2013 God Looked around his garden and found an empty place, he then looked down upon the Earth and saw your tired face.
He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest. God's garden must be beautiful, he always takes the best.
He knew that you were suffering, he knew you were in pain. He knew that you would never get well on Earth again.
He saw the road was getting rough and the hills were hard to climb, so he closed your weary eye lids and whispered
"Peace be Thine". It broke our hearts to lose you, but you didn't go alone. For part of us went
with you, the day God called you home. Sad and sudden was the call, so dearly loved by one and
all. He bade no one
a last farewell, he said goodbye to none. The Heavenly gates were opened wide and a loving voice said "come inside"
His weary hours and days of pain, his troubled nights are past. And in our aching hearts we know, he has found
sweet peace at last. Sleep dear David and take your rest, with the blessings of all of us who knew and loved
you the best
xxxxxxxxxx David Johnson 21/05/47 - 14/04/13 RIP cherished as my husband, my soul mate and my best friend, adored by his
dogs, missed so very much by us all "To have and to hold, and then to part is the greatest
sorrow of our heart"

These awards would never have come about without
the tremendous friendship and support of Kirsty and Elise O'Connor, they have been there as my constant companions to
help, encourage and support when I have made it to shows and understood without reproach when I just could not face it.
Thank you so much.
Drop the last year into the
silent limbo of the past. Let it go, for it was imperfect and thank God that it can go at last and a new one begin........
myself and my Tibetan Terrier family would like to thank the wonderful people, near and far, who have been angels in
disguise and during this last, most terrible year have lent us their wings when ours had no strength left to
fly, you know who you are and I will never forget your kindness, your support and your encouragement to keep going when for
a while it seemed too impossible to carry on but most of all for your help with the safekeeping
and welfare of our dogs that meant so very much to David . We wish you the very best that the New Year 2014 can
bring especially health, happiness and love
